Simcyp Training
Each year, at the request of the Simcyp Consortium, the Simulator becomes more sophisticated. This increases the potential applications of Simcyp in drug development, allowing more complex and varied issues to be tackled.
To support optimal use of the Simulator, Simcyp offers on-site training which serves both as an ‘introduction’ to new users and as a ‘refresher’ for more experienced users. The course is delivered as a series of lectures and demos, focusing on the practical use of the Simulator.
What should I expect from Simcyp training?
Simcyp on-site training is resourced by experienced members of the Simcyp team. Some aspects of the training can be tailored to the needs of each Consortium member; however, all sessions cover certain core topics in addition to optional modules. This provides a solid foundation for practical application of the Simulator, and improves usability, without delving deep into the science behind Simcyp. Users who wish to learn more about the concepts and applications of in vitro – in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE) of ADME properties are advised to attend the Simcyp interactive workshops.
