Simcyp to contribute to Marbach DDI workshop
Date: 03 May 2012
Professor Amin Rostami will be chairing a session and speaking at next week’s Marbach Castle DDI workshop which runs from 6th to 8th May.
The overall objective of the Marbach Castle DDI workshop series is to improve and disseminate the scientific knowledge about drug-drug interactions (including food-drug and herb-drug interactions), to foster their proper preclinical and clinical investigation and communication, thereby improving the safe use of drugs in the light of ageing populations, complex patients with various co-morbidities and increasing poly-pharmacotherapy.
Professor Rostami’s presentation is entitled ‘IVIVE of transporter related DDIs: a problem-based stepwise guide’.
Dr Sibylle Neuhoff (Principal Scientist) and Kim Crewe (Research Scientist) will be providing demos of the latest version of the Simcyp Population-based Simulator and answering questions at the Simcyp exhibition stand. They welcome discussions with other delegates.
