Simcyp will be contributing to this weeks’ 15th Pharmacokinetic / Pharmacodynamic (PKPD) Expert Meeting taking place in Heppenheim, Germany between the 7th and 9th April. The meeting brings together experts in the areas of PKPD modelling. Two topics will be discussed as part of the meeting; improving the drug development process through PKPD modelling in the present and future and physiologically based PKPD modelling.

Professor Amin Rostami-Hodjegan (Director of Scientific Research and Development, Simcyp) and Dr Masoud Jamei (Senior Scientific Advisor & Head of Modelling and Simulation, Simcyp) will be providing the following presentations at the meeting:

Saturday 9th April

  • Topic 2: PBPK/PD Modelling
    Dr Masoud Jamei
    ‘Mechanistic PBPK modelling to explore transporter based drug-drug interaction’.
  • Topic 3: Systems pharmacology: combining top-down and bottom-up modelling.
    Professor Amin Rostami
    ‘Simcyp’s perspective’.
