Simcyp Chairman leading theme at Drug Information Association meeting

Professor Geoff Tucker, Chairman of Simcyp Limited, has been invited to lead one of the themed sessions at next week’s meeting of the Drug Information Association (DIA). The conference, which is the society’s 22nd annual European meeting, runs from 8 – 10th March in Monaco.
Professor Tucker and Professor Hubert Leufken, from the Utrecht Institute in The Netherlands, will be overseeing ‘Theme 12: Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2020’ which will tackle the following questions:
- What major research activities will drive drug discovery and development?
- What will the enabling technologies be?
- What paradigm/geographical shifts will there be in drug discovery/development?
- How will regulators and the health technology assessment community reconcile the need for rapid market access with the assessment of benefit/risk?
