Simcyp to contribute to WorldPharma2010 conference
Date: 16 Jul 2010
Simcyp will be presenting at next week’s 16th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, WorldPharma2010. The event runs from 7th – 23rd July in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The WorldPharma conference is organised by the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR). The programme is designed to cover the hottest topics in pharmacology whilst offering a broad perspective of how drugs affect the living organism.
On Monday 19th, Professor Amin Rostami, Director of Scientific Research and Development at Simcyp, will be opening a session on ‘Simulation and data modelling in drug development. Better drugs faster?’ His presentation is entitled ‘Can we predict pharmacokinetics (PK) in disease populations?’
Later in the week, Dr Trevor Johnson, Principal Scientist at Simcyp Limited, will be presenting on ‘Drug interactions in the paediatric population’. This forms part of the session on ‘Drugs for half the world: Paediatric clinical pharmacology’.
Simcyp will also be exhibiting at the event and both Dr Johnson and Professor Rostami welcome any discussions and questions from delegates. Please visit the Simcyp stand for a demo of the latest features in Version 10.0 of the Simcyp Population-based ADME Simulator.
