Simcyp to sponsor workshop prior to ISSX meeting in September

Simcyp scientists will be tutoring at a workshop, focusing on the prediction of oral absorption, which is a satellite event of the 9th International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX) meeting. The main conference runs from 4th – 8th September 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Simcyp is supporting ‘Short Course 4’ which is entitled ‘Hands-on workshop on predicting oral drug bioavailability and its inter-individual variability: Interplay between formulation, drug permeability and metabolism.’
The workshop consists of lectures and hands-on exercises and focuses on the use of in vitro data to predict oral bioavailability and gut wall metabolism, incorporating the effects of efflux transporters, food and entero-hepatic re-circulation.
