Registrations now being taken for Indianapolis workshops in October 2010

Simcyp News RSS

Date: 06 Apr 2010

Registrations are now being taken for the upcoming Simcyp workshops in Indianapolis, IN, covering the ‘Concepts and Applications of Predicting ADME, Pharmacokinetics and Population Variability’. An early-bird discount of over 40% is available on registrations received before 30th July 2010.

** Please note that our recent workshop in La Jolla, and upcoming event in London, both reached capacity prior to the registration deadline. We encourage delegates to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.**

The Simcyp workshops are relevant to both senior level managers and scientists working in the fields of drug metabolism, ADME, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, PBPK and PK/PD, both in industry, or in academia and research institutes. The course provides a solid grounding in the concepts and applications of in vitro – in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE) and is not solely aimed at individuals who have hands-on experience using the Simcyp Simulator.

The main emphasis is on using data generated in pre-clinical stages to understand the kinetic behaviour of drugs in various target populations. This informs decisions on the conduct and optimal design of clinical studies with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of submissions for regulatory approval.

The complete course runs from 11th – 15th October at the University Place Conference Center and  Hotel (IUPUI), Indianapolis, IN. Delegates may also choose to register for part of the course:

Part I: 11th – 13th October 2010
Part II: 13th – 15th October 2010
