Professor Tucker to present at toxicology workshop in Brazil

Simcyp’s Chairman, Professor Geoff Tucker, has been invited to speak at a conference which aims to increase awareness of the impact of chemicals on the environment in Brazil. The workshop, entitled ‘Advanced topics in toxicology’, runs from 30th November to 11th December 2009.
Professor Tucker will be lecturing on pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism during the first five days of the course, which is being held in Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo. Approximately 150 graduate students and other participants from all over Brazil are expected to attend.
